The Aelfheim Gateway: Now available in paperback!

If you’re interested in purchasing a copy of The Aelfheim Gateway in paperback, it’s now available on Amazon.com via the Createspace publish tool.

I took the advice of Dean Wesley Smith who basically suggested in the linked article to always post a paperback and an electronic version of your book. The paperback of course will be more expensive and so will make the electronic version price more attractive. And if you sell paperbacks, then all the better.

So The Aelfheim Gateway has a great-looking matte-finish cover (new to Createspace), and I added graphics at the top of each chapter to make it that extra bit special.

And it’s selling. Which is great 🙂

I wonder if it had anything to do with the free promotion on Smashwords that recently ran. That is, people read the free version then wanted to have an actual hard copy in hand.

Makes me also wonder if there’s a push back to electronic book versions by certain demographics (a.k.a. middle-aged people) who still want a hard copy paperback version in their hands, physically turning the pages, etc, etc. I know I still enjoy visiting bookstores and purchasing books.
